Welcome to fifth grade. I have been teaching since 1984. I taught for two years in a small rural school in Nebraska. The school was a K-12 school with approximately 160 students.  In 1986, I returned to California and taught in Downey. I taught 2nd and 3rd. grade. Then in 1996, I began working at Rolling Ridge.
     I am married. My husband's name is Jack Hazelrigg. Our son is a senior at Ayala. I have a stepdaughter who is in her forties, and a stepson who is twenty two. Also, I have three step grandchildren. Unfortunately, my stepdaughter, her husband and the grandchildren live in Florida so, we do not see them often.
     One of my passions is traveling. I have gone to Canada with a friend.  A few years back my family had the opportunity to travel to Greece. That was a wonderful experience. My next major travel adventure may be to London for the 2012 Olympics.
